Forensic Claims Review

Tawa has developed a forensic claims review capability that has proved invaluable in claims disputes and financial mitigation, supporting negotiation strategies and leading to more effective settlement of claims. The review is based on an examination of the origin of the claim in the context of the contract, with the contract subjected to a desktop review and an analysis made of the contractual obligations, enabling claims to then be mapped against policyholder or cedant compliance.

This technique is often applied in support of contract inspections and is used to deal with specific issues arising either with counterparties, on a contract by contract basis or as part of a portfolio review.
