Charity Commitments
Each year our employees nominate five charities to be sponsored and over the last two years we have raised in excess of £130,000.

Charity Golf Day
In June 2006 we held our first Charity Golf Day at the Addington Court Golf Club in Surrey. Together with over 50 of our friends from the Insurance market we were able to have a fun day of golf and raise almost £8,000.
Bonus Scheme
Since 2003 we have donated over £130,000 from interest accrued on monies held in our employee bonus fund.
Christmas Card Donations
Over the last three years we have sent an e-Christmas card to all our business friends and clients, inviting them to visit our website and cast a vote for one of our designated charities. Each vote translates to a donation, and has helped to raise over £6,000.
The British Heart Foundation Jog
A team of eight of our employees entered the 1500-strong Canary Wharf Jog in June 2007, managing to raise over £1,200. Tawa were happy to match the sum and our efforts were later recognised with an award for the 2nd highest amount of sponsorship money raised by a small business.
Abseiling at The London Underwriting Centre
Our fantastic offices at the London Underwriting Centre provide the perfect location for indoor abseiling. Through a combined effort of personal fundraising and company sponsorship, we raised £629 for the Bobby Moore Bowel Cancer Appeal during 2006.
Wear Pink for Breakthrough Breast Cancer
We have participated in this event for the past couple of years and most of our employees join in, daring to wear one or more items of pink clothing for a small fee. We even raise money by collecting donations from those who prefer to pay a fee rather than wear something pink!
